LARRY GRIFFIN JOINS DOMINION SENIOR LIVING OF ATHENS AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Athens, Tenn. (April 2024) — Dominion Senior Living of Athens welcomes Larry Griffin to the team as Executive Director. Griffin is joining Dominion with 28 years of industry experience and 19 years as an Executive Director.  

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Griffin attended Southern Adventist University and graduated with a double major in Business and Long-Term Healthcare. He and his family have remained in Southeast Tennessee while Griffin has pursued his career in the senior living industry. Griffin’s desire has always been to show God’s love to the residents, residents’ families and team members daily by showing God’s love through his every word, action and deed.

Griffin and his wife of 30 years, Robin, have four children: Alexandra, Tyler, Victoria and Isabella. They also have two dogs, Tilly and Henry. You can find him working in his yard among his plants and flowers during his free time.

The Great Place to Work Institute has honored Dominion Senior Living and its independent living brand, Everlan, with certification as a Great Place to Work. The certification process considered more than 1,000 employee surveys from across Dominion’s locations.

Great Place to Work, an independent research and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, no matter who they are or what they do.

In celebration, the company hosted several ceremonies at a few of their communities. One of the communities, Everlan of Johnson City in Tennessee, received the highest trust index score in the company on Great Place to Work’s site at 93 percent.
